Executive Director

Kathryn Bissette first joined Episcopal Booksellers Association as a board member in 2015 and served as Secretary, President and Vice President before coming Executive Director in February 2020.

Kathryn Bissette is a native of Tallahassee, Florida, and lived for 20 years in Atlanta during college, and when she worked in the securities industry as a bank stock analyst for several regional brokerage firms. She and her family moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2005. Kathryn and her husband, Mack, have two college-aged children, Ella and Nathan. An avid reader and lover of independent bookstores, Kathryn has been the bookstore manager of St. John’s Cathedral Bookstore & Gift Shop in Jacksonville since 2012.

Kathryn has been a member store of EBA since 2012, so she joins EBA as our new Executive Director with lots of experience. As a store manager herself, her goals include growing relationships between stores and publishers; aiding brick and mortar stores in the skills needed to survive increasing online buying; and educating all Episcopal churches about EBA bookstores.
